Paris - Day 1

As you might have previously read, Jeff and I took the bus to Paris last weekend! We left London at 8:30 p.m. on Friday night, and arrived in Paris at 7:00 a.m. Saturday morning. The bus actually took the ferry over the English Channel - my first time on a boat that big! It was nice to take a break from the bus and have a delicious Bulmers.
Helen, the nice French girl I sat next to on the bus.

Once we got to Paris, we put our bags in a locker and walked around to enjoy the city.

One of the coolest things we came across that morning was the Notre Dame. It was the Saturday morning service, and they had huge projections outside showing the service. There were hundreds of people sitting outside to watch the service. It was very cool, and very good timing that we happened to come across it!

This is the Bastille Monument:

Our hotel me, Jeff, Sarah and Alicia stayed at:

And there's just something about a french baguette that tastes soooo delicious!
